University of Puerto Rico, Bayamón Campus. Bachelor's in Computer Science GPA: 3.31 Just graduated from my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I am going to start my Master's in Information Technology in the University of South Florida this Fall 2017. During the completion of my bachelor's degree, I've had the opportunity to be a Vocal, Vice-President and President of the Computer Science Student Association at my campus. Thanks to this awesome experience I've been able to involve myself with my community. I have given various talks as part of the Computer Science High School Tour of UPR Bayamón to Middle and High School Students. Also, I've been able to give "Introduction to Programming Workshops using Java" for these students.
Experience
Independent math tutor. I want to be a tutor because I love helping other students reach their academic goals. Also, I enjoy assisting students understanding topics from a more relatable perspective. I've taken courses in General Chemistry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, II and Literature in Spanish and English. Spanish is my first language, so I've been taking Spanish courses all my life and I am very passionate in teaching this language. Weather is reading, writing or comprehending it.

Hobbies
I love computer programming, playing and watching soccer, reading, and teaching. My favorite authors are Julio Cortazar, Jorge Luis Borges, Gabriel García Marquez and JK Rowling. Also, I like to dance salsa and learn new things. Furthermore, I love to share the knowledge I have gained and try to re-frame it so other people can learn as well. These "new things" may be academically or even new hobbies.
