My main interests are reading, foreign-language study, poetry (both reading and writing), clawhammer banjo, and travel. As a tutor, I like to get a sense of a person's learning style, and I'm always seeking out new ways to keep students interested. I'm very patient with kids who don't learn in the typical way or who have learning quirks or disabilities.
