I have over three years of teaching experience at the college level in various levels of science. I am accustomed to teaching students of diverse backgrounds and believe that I can tailor my teaching style to benefit any type of learner. I feel that when a student does not grasp a concept, it is because the teacher is failing to teach in a manner that the student can understand. I have several styles that I can adapt to reach any student provided the student is willing to do the hard work to achieve their goals. I believe that any student can pass any level of science with some work and the right teacher. I love being a part of the student's eureka moment. Not only is it a joy to watch their excitement, but also a joy to know that I helped them reach their goal. I think that I am able to reach students and to really teach them wonderful world of chemistry so that they begin to truly grasp the subject and begin to perform better in class. I work to keep my teaching style current and relevant to students needs. I look forward to helping students find success in their college or high school chemistry classes.
