Experience
I'm a tutor based in Tampa, Florida. I have two bachelor's degrees from Pitzer College "” one in organizational studies and another in Africana studies. I also have a master of business administration degree from Marylhurst University. I consider myself to be a world traveler. I've visited over 25 countries in my life, and have lived on three different continents. Tutoring has been a constant presence throughout my travels. In South Korea, for example, I taught English to middle school-aged students and continued to tutor when I arrived home in the United States. I'm able to provide tutoring services across a wide array of subjects, including science, literature, and social studies. I believe that every student is unique, and therefore I target my lesson plans to reach the individual needs of every student I work with. Through targeted lesson plans, I've seen the most growth out of my students. Outside of the classroom I really enjoy traveling, playing music, reading, and watching documentaries. I am also a part of a few community groups that work towards improving the world we live in. I am excited to use my background and experience to help you reach your goals.
