I love tutoring and can't wait to take on more students! The core of my approach is confidence - many students do not feel capable of getting the grades or knowledge they need in order to reach their academic goals. Standard classroom environments, which are crowded and ignore individual learning preferences, often make this problem worse instead of better.As a nurse with three years of experience and a degree in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia, I have tutored many of my peers. Our individualized tutoring sessions did wonders for them, and consequently increased their confidence in their own abilities.Given both my profession and my experience tutoring other nurses, I would be an ideal tutor for anyone going into nursing or healthcare. For those students not interested in nursing or healthcare, I can tutor other subjects. Math, Algebra, Science, Anatomy, Physiology, Biology, and Pharmacology are all possibilities. Based on my track record, I believe that I can help any student having trouble in these areas.My free time is spent kayaking, fishing, listening to music, and watching football.
