Private tutor in Tampa, FL

University of South Florida-Main Campus - Current Undergrad, International Studies

I have a lot of experience tutoring elementary to high school aged students. I like to tutor in the core subjects because I feel a strong foundation in the basics will lead to success in the more difficult classes. I am very friendly and I like to build strong relationships with my students. I talk to them about where they feel their strengths and weaknesses are and what they like to do when they aren't in school. I observe the way they learn and tailor my approach to best fit their style and needs. I tutor in the areas of Algebra, Writing, Reading, Math, Essay Editing, Grammar, English, Social Sciences, Social Studies, Anthropology, Geography, and Latin. I also do test preparation for the PSAT and SAT. I attended the University of South Florida-Main Campus and yes, I do love to go to the beach. I also enjoy reading a good book, watching all kinds of movies, writing on my blog, hiking, and writing.
