Experience
I am a student who loves education! I had the highest GPA in my high school class, and now, as an undergraduate student at the University of Florida, I am working toward my bachelor's degree in marine biology. Once I receive that, I will continue on to my master's degree work, and I hope to someday become a professional marine animal rescuer and rehabilitator. Although I am focusing my degree in a scientific field, my strongest subject is mathematics. This can be a difficult subject, but as a tutor, I approach each student as a person full of unique potential which can be discovered with time, inspiration, and encouragement. I can tutor many levels of math, including IB-level mathematics, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and middle school math. I also have experience tutoring biology, environmental science, American history, geography, chemistry, psychology, life sciences, social sciences, social studies, and Spanish. In my free time, I enjoy staying fit in the great outdoors, especially by riding my bicycle. I have also picked up knitting as my newest hobby.
