I grew up in Los Angeles, California, and currently reside in Beverly Hills. Both of my parents have doctorates and instilled in me a great love for all types of education. I attended middle school and high school at Harvard-Westlake, then graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University with a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in Hispanic studies. I have taken additional pre-med courses since receiving my degree, and recently completed the MCAT. My main tutoring experience is in math, from the most basic levels through middle school courses. I also have experience in tutoring Spanish and pre-algebra. I love Spanish and have been a student of the culture and the language since I was in middle school. I am also available to tutor reading, writing, literature, essay editing, psychology, nutrition, social sciences, biology, chemistry, and algebra 1-4. My tutoring style involves customizing my approach for each student, because I'm aware that every student learns differently. I approach the subject in whichever way is easiest for the student to understand, and if one method doesn't work, I am flexible and will try another.When I'm not working, I like to practice yoga, cook, read, and watch Spanish TV!
