TEACHING & TUTORING EXPERIENCE: I have three years experience teaching middle school students with learning disabilities. I achieved tenure with the New York City Department of Education before I started law school. I also have extensive experience tutoring adults. SPECIALTIES & APPROACH: Each tutoring lesson will have a purpose. I will work with you to create individual goals and we will work together to achieve results. My specialties are primary and secondary school literacy, K-12 and University-level writing, and English as a second language. I believe in a holistic approach to language instruction that includes reading, writing, and speech. However, I will customize my lessons based on your individual area of need. I love to teach and I enjoy the process of instilling a love of learning in young people. I believe that all children are capable of academic success. For adult English language learners, I want to teach practical skills that can be applied in this English-intensive economy. Each of my students receives individualized lesson plans customized to their individual needs.
