I've always had a love of the written word, and have enjoyed reading and writing for as long as I can remember. I began helping my friends edit their essays and short stories for fun when I was in middle school, and I continued helping other students with written assignments throughout high school. After high school, I went to Oklahoma City University, where I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Classical Theater. While I was in college, I spent three semesters studying Shakespeare -- one of which was completed in the UK -- and took part in a playwriting collective that focused on producing new and original works. In addition to my coursework, I took additional classes in philosophy, Greek theatre, Gothic literature, Western Literature, and theatre history. I share my admiration for the written word with others by tutoring students in reading, writing, literature, grammar, English, AP English Literature and Composition, AP English Language and Composition, as well as tutoring IB Theatre HL and IB Theatre SL students. Additionally, I offer test prep services to high school students who are preparing to take the ACT, PSAT, and SAT. In my free time, I enjoy reading Sherlock Holmes books as well as the works of Shakespeare and other classical texts. I also enjoy traveling, cooking, music, fitness, writing plays, and reading Marvel comics.
