I am originally from Boston, Ma. I attended The College of William and Mary in VA and majored in Kinesiology and Health Sciences with a Concentration in Pre- med. I now am a resident of Florida, where I received my Masters of Public Health (MPH) from USF and am teaching 8th grade science. Because of my love for the sciences I have had the opportunity to work with Gastroenterologists in Boston, plastic surgeons in New York, and do cancer research with a Doctor at Mass General Hospital. *I am bilingual/bicultural. *Also ask my about my semester with cadavers (people who have graciously donated their bodies to science!)
Experience
I have tutored for the past 3 years with two tutoring companies as well as privately. I teach 8th grade science. I have always loved teaching. I realize that sometimes after a long day of work or school things may not stick they way we thought they did in class. Its the classic "I understood while the teacher was doing it" syndrome. I want to be able to reinforce concepts in a manner that is fun and little bit more stress free. I have tutored in many subjects k-12 including Florida Virtual and organization and study skills. I can also tutor select college subjects.
