I have tutored in algebra before. Before the SATs were changed, I got a 1580 overall score and a 24 on the ACT. I would like to be a tutor because I feel comfortable showing people step-by-step how to do things, and I feel that I am prepared to do so as I have been pretty successful in the classes that I have taken. On that note, the classes that are relevant that I have taken are all the lover level algebras, pre-calc, biology 1 & 2, human anatomy & physiology, psychology, Spanish 1 & 2, English Composition 1 & 2 and a couple others.

Weekends at any time, Friday at any time, Tues/Thurs after 6PM, Monday after 6PM, Wednesday after 6PM

I used to get help with tutoring in chemistry. I was AWFUL at it. I then stumbled upon a WONDERFUL tutor who showed me the ins and outs, and taught me how to remember things that I just physically couldn't have remembered on my own. He became my friend and to this day, he still helps me when I need him, and that was 2 years ago. I want to HELP your son/daughter UNDERSTAND why they aren't understanding the material, because I believe that that is a good way to start to "get it". Sometimes, it just takes one tiny thing to make it "click".
