Internships: Weightman Middle School- Spring 2014, Fall 2014, Spring 2015 I was inspired to be come a special education teacher, but I started my internship at Weightman Middle School and realized I would love to teach 6th grade mathematics. Throughout my internships I have taught in two different 6th grade math classes, a 7th grade language arts class, an 8th grade language arts class, and two different Autism Spectrum Disorder classrooms. Pepin Academy- Summer 2014 At Pepin Academy I was the summer school 3rd grade teacher. Pepin Academy is a consists of only students who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), which means that all of the students have some type of disability. During my internships I have given reading, mathematics, and behavioral interventions to give each student the edge they need in order to succeed.
