APPROACH I enjoy the material I have learned and helping others understand it too. I find different ways to explain the material so that the student has the best understanding he/she can have. I am patient and flexible. I like starting my sessions by making a plan that is specific to the student's needs. ACT/SAT: My score on the ACT was a 34 so I understand the material well and can help others prepare for the exams. I also got a 36 on the MCAT. Study skills and Organization: As a tutor, I have learned to set attainable goals for my students that help push them to do better in their subjects. I believe in teaching students to make these goals themselves so that they will not need someone to help them in the future. Math: Math has always been one of my strongest subjects. Because my understanding of it is so strong, I find it easy to explain different ways so that my students have a better understanding too.
