Experience
Education has always been an important part of my life. I am still enjoying my time as a scholar. Being a college student has given me the opportunity to explore my interests and constantly improve myself in an environment where knowledge is always available. I am in the process of earning my master's degree, and am proud of the fact that I have made it this far in my academic career. My goal is to help any aspiring student become as successful as I have become. On a more immediate note, I also enjoy tutoring because it allows me to help students reach that moment of enlightenment when they finally understand a difficult subject. This is very rewarding for me. As a college student, I have taught classes to students that are developmentally disabled. Additionally, I have experience with students at various levels of their education in all areas of math, including statistics. Despite my love of math, I am able to help students with other subjects that they have trouble comprehending. My B.A. is in Psychology from Wake Forest University. Upon graduation, I was recognized with honors. I earned my master's degree from the University of South Florida in public health. My hobbies include exercising, cooking, volunteering, and traveling.
