I have a bachelor's degree from Salem State University and a master's degree from the University of Vermont. As a geologist, I have a strong interest in geophysics and I took many courses in physics and math during my college years. I am currently working toward a doctoral degree at the University of South Florida's School of Geosciences. My strengths and core knowledge lie in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) subjects. I enjoy teaching because it helps me to be conscious of my own strengths and weaknesses, and I also enjoy the processes of learning and finding an answer to a question I don't know. I have a passion for teaching and am blessed to have had the experience of teaching undergraduate-level courses as a graduate student. I specialize in math tutoring, however, I am also happy to tutor students who are studying the earth sciences. I can tutor the subjects of Elementary Math, Arithmetic, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and all levels of Algebra.During my free time, I enjoy crafts, DIY projects, cooking, hiking, and anything that gets me outside and into the sun.
