I am a native of Ireland, and am currently living in the United States. I moved to the United States to attend graduate school and have been here ever since. I am currently working as a teacher, and I have taught in colleges and high schools. My specialty is teaching the sciences. I prefer working in high schools because I love getting to know my students on a personal level, which is difficult when teaching at a large college. My love for giving students personal attention is why I enjoy tutoring. I can bring the sciences to life for any struggling student, and I like to do that by finding ways to relate difficult science topics to real life. I first attended college in Ireland, and there I earned my bachelor's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University College of Dublin. I then moved to the United States to obtain my Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Notre Dame. This is where I learned that I loved tutoring.In my free time, I enjoy listening to great music at home and attending concerts. I also love playing and watching a variety of sports.
