I have been a tutor to my younger brother for as long as I can remember. Throughout his entire life, I have been teaching him and helping to raise him. In teaching him, I have gotten the chance to practice various styles of tutoring in order to find what works best for his learning pace and preference. He is currently learning German at school, and I enjoy helping him with his language skills. I have the ability to do this because, while studying at South Florida University, I had the opportunity to study abroad in German. From this experience, not only did I improve upon my German, but I also gained an immense drive to learn new things. Studying abroad made me realize the doors that become available to someone who values learning and education. My goal as a tutor is to show anyone who I am lucky enough to teach that the pursuit of knowledge is a noble way to spend one's life. While at South Florida University, I studied international studies and earned my bachelor's. I want to spend the rest of my life traveling and sharing the things that I learn with others. Not only do I feel like this will allow me to make a positive difference, but I also enjoy connecting with people.
