Education

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.9 from a reputable private liberal arts named Oberlin College in 2011. I majored in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. While working in labs for the past two years, I took post-baccalaureate courses at Stony Brook University in the natural and life sciences to earn the necessary Pre-Med qualifications and a committee letter of recommendation. I am currently applying to medical schools.

Experience

-For the past 3 years, I have had close experience with professionally tutoring students with my family's circle of friends I want to continue to be a tutor for the feeling I enjoy in helping and innovating a student's understanding of subjects that were previously hard to grasp and a cause for confusion and stress. There is an immense amount to learn from the simple act of teaching; its requirements of simplifying and articulating abstract concepts can allow the tutor a better understanding of the material, and the reciprocal, mutually benefiting dynamic between instructor and student is something I will continue to enjoy in my years of education to come. -ACT Score: 32 -SAT Critical Reading: 760 -SAT Math: 740 -SAT Critical Reasoning: 760 -Along with my intimate knowledge of philosophy and psychology, I have taken a year's worth of Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, and I am confident my post-baccalaureate GPA of 3.7 demonstrates competence in these subjects.
