I would like to be a tutor because I have the passion to teach students and help them understand the curriculum in a way they can learn. I have tutored children all of my life and cannot express the rewarding feeling after helping a child come to understand. I love teaching and think this would be a wonderful opportunity to further pursue my desire to help children learn. Tutor-A-Bull Program where I tutored students from St. Peter Clavor Catholic School grades K-8th. Interned through the cohort 4 elementary educators program at Trapnell Elementary (1st and 4th grade) and Lee Elementary (1st grade). Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp Officer. Involved in the program for 4 years and learned about leadership and organizational skills.
