I attended Central Connecticut State University, where I earned both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in education. I also studied at Johns Hopkins University, where I received a certificate in School Administration and Supervision. At Argosy University, I did postgraduate work, and earned a doctorate in educational leadership. With my extensive experience in the field of education, I can provide tutoring services in many different subjects, such as English, writing, reading, essay editing, public speaking, phonics, and elementary and middle school math skills. As an educator, I believe that one must be open-minded and able to have a positive influence on a student's academic performance to ensure his future success. Additionally, I feel that it is important to work alongside students to help them overcome their educational challenges. I am the author of a book on education, called "Attitudes of Teachers toward Professional Development: San Juan, Puerto Rico, Public School District II." This book examines the varying attitudes of public school teachers have in regards to professional development. In my free time, I enjoy learning languages, painting, and poetry.
