Experience
I have a medical degree, and I'm currently performing my ophthalmology residency. I love working with patients, but I enjoy teaching and tutoring as well. I believe there is no greater reward than assisting a student to work through learning obstacles in a complex subject and achieve success. I performed well in high school and had high scores on the SAT and ACT, allowing me an academic scholarship to the College of Idaho, where I completed my bachelor's degree in biology in three years. I then scored highly on the MCAT exam and went on to medical school. As a tutor, I enjoy helping students prepare for exams like the GRE, SAT, ACT, and MCAT. When it comes to working with premed students, I can assist in the exam, medical school applications, and interview preparations. I've been lucky to have excellent success as a student, and I've developed a great test taking skills as well. I want to share what I know with others as a friendly and enthusiastic tutor to provide students with a better understanding of material and the learning skills they need to achieve the same kind of success that I have had. In my free time, I like to play with my dog, swim, go to the beach, exercise, freediving, scuba dive, paint, and read.
