Experience
I believe when teaching, it's important to discover what a student does well in, and where they lack. This implies first discovering where the learner's qualities and shortcomings in the subject are. Once a fundamental comprehension of the material is achieved, a more nuanced picture of how learners see the material, and understand what they are learning. Then I can see precisely what areas they need help with and afterward work from that point. I got started in tutoring by helping other students with homework during my first year at college. It was from then I wanted to offer that same help to others. Currently, I'm a student at the University of South Florida. I'm working on a Mechanical Engineering degree. Among the subjects I teach are Algebra 1, Middle School Science, Calculus 1, High School Physics, Calculus 2, College Physics, Calculus 3, College Algebra, Geometry, High School Chemistry, Middle School Math, Trigonometry, Algebra 2, Physics, SAT Math, Multivariable Calculus, and Arithmetic. I also work with students who need help in test prep for the SAT and AP classes. In my free time, I love playing sports such as lacrosse and soccer. I also enjoy music and relaxing with a good book.
