I believe all students want to achieve success as learners, and the reason that many do not is because they don't believe in their ability to succeed. Somewhere along the line, the student fell behind in class and missed out on important information they need to apply their knowledge to future learning. I work with students to figure out where these gaps are, and I help students build their confidence back up. I work collaboratively with students and encourage open communication so that we both know about progress and needs at all times.
