I am a resident of Tampa, Florida, where I attended the University of Tampa. I am a certified instructor of secondary biology in the local county school district. In the past, I have other scientific disciplines to the middle and high school level students. I specialize in preparing people to take Florida state mandated exams, as well as in basic math and science.Although science may seem daunting, any person can master the concepts. Really, it is just a matter of finding a way to make the material seem relevant to the lives of students. When a student can relate to science where it pertains to them in ways they can understand, then full comprehension begins to take place.Here in Florida, I like to beat the heat by staying inside and doing needlework. I also like to read books and to sing. In my spare time, I play the piano, as well.
