My freshman year of college I was hand-selected by one of the world's leading Hemingway scholars to be a part of his freshmen English Honors class. I was a member of Sigma Tau Delta (English Honors Society), and received the English Education Major of the Year award. I only missed 2 questions on the English Praxis Exam and received a Praxis Certificate of Excellence. I have taught both middle school and high school English. This will be my fourth year teaching English in a public school setting.
